The Castle

MARIETTA, OH - October 11, 2014

This castle is considered a French Gothic Castle. Tours are available but they were closed. The structure is quite beautiful especially for where it was located. It has been well taken care of and well preserved from what I have seen.

Even though it was still October there were still some flowers blooming. I started snapping photos and moving around the castle. Well I moved myself right in the middle of a wedding. Well least I had some friends with me so I didn't look totally stupid, but only a little stupid. The thing was, there was no indication that there was a wedding going on. It was very quiet, no music, no signs, and no people until you get halfway around the structure. Everyone turned around and looked at us. Absolutely awkward. 

On the street The Castle was on there were some magnificent colored leaves on the trees. They were very bright. I am unsure what type of trees they were but I know I would like one in my yard.
